another case of Why Can't I Mind My Own Business.........

but it reallllllly bothers me when my friends call their 5 weeks old baby girl "Cuddle Slut" and "Hug Whore"

like, to the point where I immediately detach and change the subject.

I just want to throddle ignorant men and their wives who not only schedule inductions, but beg their doctors for c-sections because "why should one do it naturally anyway??! I mean the pain, the agony, the unknown timing, etc. Just cut in and take it out!"

especially when those men and their wives are friends of ours.

and I GAVE them my copy of Ina May's Childbirth book. Guess THAT one's collecting dust.

I worked this weekend on the 'guestbook pages' for our friend's baby shower. Its a co-ed baby bash with a lot of single guys (go figure), so no games. I'm pretty pleased with the results,but need a few more things under 'firsts' and maybe something different under the 'funny stories' section. In my experience of using these, fill-in-the-blanks are used more than the 'write a story' Take a look and let me know where I can add! (and credit goes to onelargecat for the cute baby in a diaper clip art)
