so its that lovely even in the DC/Baltimore area known as The First Snow. where everything comes to a screeching halt as commuters abandon their vehicles (literally!) and rush to the store for milk, bread and toilet paper.
I was suppose to have a meeting at Arlington today, but got about 10 miles in 2 hours and just abandonded the effort. (for you locals, I got from BWI to Ft Meade/Laurel on the BW Parkway.....what should be a 15 min trip). Saw no accidents on the highway.
Set up for a few hours of work/conference call at one of our field offices and just headed home. On the way into Ft Meade, saw an overturned car and 2 accidents on a stretch of road that's about 300 feet long. yikes.
SO its still coming down. Ben is cuddly in my lap, and we may try to run out for a few fun photos
BUT NOW: tea and cookie time :)
