another week down......

vernacular_lifeits pretty quiet at work today - it's the office Golf Tourney day, so it won't be bad to slip out a little early today....
weekend plans include having friends over for dinner tonight (its a Rachel Ray kind of menu night - grilled tuna steaks w/ zucchini/squash/eggplant "salsa" and antipasto salad in a hollowed out bread bowl) They've got a 1 year old (who's coming, too), so it won't be late night, which is fine by me. Judd really wasn't that into having them come over, b/c we haven't finished the trim in the entryway. Big deal, I say....its just friends (and, my friend joked that it will still be cleaner than their baby-product-filled house!)
Tomorrow is household chores in the daytime and bowling w/ friends at night = this ain't no Martini swanky bowling - this is blue collar, beer & nachos bowling. We haven't gone in over a year, but where we go is really nice b/c there's no smoking in it (all you CA'ers and NYC'ers are SOOO lucky!) Should be a good group, and usually we wind up at the Krispy Kreme afterwards, so must do a few extra minutes on the elliptical to do a premetive strike...
Since the house is tidy (and all the trim in!) , I'll def take pictures of the full bath and entryway. I'm SO happy with the way both turned out, with the exception that now that I sprayed WD-40 on the bathroom door, it won't stay open due to the mirror on the front of it.....oh welll
Oho, and has anyone else been watching Hit Me Baby One More Time? The Knack ruled, but I SO wish they'd have done the Killers or Franz Ferdinand.....
