my life has barely stopped since last week -- 2 days last week were out of the office at Arlington, attended 2 big retirement lunches/ceremonies (the 4-5 hour kind!) for co-workers, and finally got the floors installed on Friday (the weekend consisted of reinstalling toilets, installing new vanity and sink, trimming doors, cutting moulding, doing yardwork....) URGH. At least we managed to squeeze in a few nice meals outside. The floor looks great - I'm not use to it being so light and clean in the entryway!

this week of work doesn't look much better - at least I think I'll be in the office all week!

i've been so nuts that I've been wondering how I am!

SO happy with the appearance floors, but a bit annoyed about the sloppiness on some of the edges - we're putting the baseboard in ourselves, and really notice how one area has 1/4" gap and right next to it almost 3/4".

Mr Sammy doesn't like them too much - his toenails make a funny sound!

Ugh, I know how that is. I know a lot of it has to do with the fact that no walls are straight (in every way) but still, 1/2" = annoying. What's funny is when Sammy will try to kick off a run and ends up running place for a couple of strides until he gets his footing! tee hee
