We survived (literally) year 2!

Here's my favourite picture, with more behind the cut....

I never did post a bunch of wedding pics. I scanned them into Ofoto for people to log onto and see, but we never put them on our homepage.

Fav thing about the wedding? Having family 'build' my bouquet. If I were to do it again, I'd pick different flowers (or at least have them cleaned up before being put into the vase), probably do a different dress, add an extra hour for the reception, and have my MOH carry my makeup bag for pictures, but who really cares at this point. I guess the good thing is that in retrospect, we really couldn't have changed a thing to make the day better. (well, except make sure that someone saved us some crab dip!!)
Chronologically...........

After the knot was tied..............

These last 3 are pretty descriptive of the fun & un-structuredness that we tried to have for the wedding......the 1st is the 'chain' of people that linked Judd to me. Judd went to college w/ Dave, who went to high school with Baltimore Mike (and met Judd at Dave's wedding), Baltimore Mike is cousins with Dixie, who was engaged to Steve, who I worked with.

The last one....well, lets just say that Ice Cream Man Judd couldn't have picked a better grooms cake..

And Happy Anniversary to [livejournal.com profile] tinksdustand [livejournal.com profile] havybeakstoo!

Thanks!

we went out of town this weekend (uploading pics now) & are going to dinner tonight...not quite the vacation-in-Maui or the Huge Bling that I'd like, but nice regardless

thanks! it was a bridesmaid dress - Jim Hjelm, if I remember correctly. I didn't want anything poofy or lacy, and found that one! With alterations, I spent less than $250. I hated (and still do) the way that if it was for the bride, triple the price....

(Btw, I never even told the shop that I was the bride...I had heard stories where they charge MORE for a white/ivory bridesmaid dress if its a wedding dress..)

It does lessen, but I still get annoyed when I look at the end of the flowers!
