fashion police!
May. 16th, 2005 04:35 pm>now that the temps are rising, the odd clothing is coming out of the closet. Co-workers who have been under long sleeves and boots are now showing a bit more skin (and odd fashion) than I wish to see:
Note To Coworkers:
Note To Coworkers:
- please throw the 'dress shorts' away. shorts should not be made of woven wool slacks material, nor should they be worn with stockings and flats. Instead, try a skirt!
- if you don't want to wax/shave your legs, please do not wear white/cream stockings.
- if you are a male, please wear a t-shirt style undershirt under your dress shirt. Seeing a 50 year old guy wearing a too-tight dress shirt with a wifebeater is NOT appealing.
- do a 'side profile check' before leaving the house while wearing sleeveless shirts. I don't want the profile shot of your bra/boob.
- Open Toed Shoes = toe nail polish or very veryvery well cared for toes. Please. You don't need a $40 pedi to achieve decent looking feet.
- It's time to put the courdorory and velvet away until next year

Date: 2005-05-17 03:07 pm (UTC)- Seriously - throw away those pocket protectors, even if they are made out of leather.
- If your dress shirt has yellow stains on the underarms, its time for some new shirts.
- Don't try to get away with no undershirt if you are a guy (unless you are Brad Pitt).
LOL about dress shorts & nylons. I think I was guilty of that look in 1990.
