yesterday was the 4th week in a row I've been out of the office on Thursdays, which sucks because that's the only day that the hatha yoga class is held in my gym. grrr.

Yesterday proved interesting, as I was again at Arlington, but not for the sinhole project, but for prelimimary discussions for replacing the Tomb of the Unknowns. There's a pretty severe crack in the marble, and it's growing at a rate of about 2 inches per year, worse in years where there's been a lot of extreme temps. There's more coordination that you can imagine to get this done, and unfortunatlely, the project is moving (marble being procured) prior to getting the State/Federal historic offices' buy-off on it. Still, WAY easier than the sinkhole job.

This weekend should be good - a bit of yardwork in the AM, then heading out to the Baltimore Blues society's 20th anniv. concert featureing a few people we fell in love with a few years back in Memphis...North Mississippi Allstars kind of punked-up swamp blues, not slow smokey blues
