well, Tuesday won, thanks to Sammy!

Yesterday wasn't the best day ever..........and it got worse when I got home and saw that Sammy has decided to dabble in the area of Shredding Things again.  Last week, he chewed up his foamy 'snuggle' bed from Target, and yesterday, it was a (cheap) throw pillow that resided on the living room couch.  Needless to say, he will be locked up in his 'room' again for the next few days.  He KNEW he'd done something bad, as he cowered behind the table when we came home and ran into his crate when we said "bad dog!" the first time. 

Dunno why the sudden urge to destroy.  He certainly has enough bones, rope bones, and other chew toys. Teenage rebellion, perhaps?

otherwise, my parents are arriving tonight for a quick visit - Mom's got a conference tomoorow that's 1/2 mile from my house, but is taking Friday off (as am I) to visit, then they'll leave to go back home on Saturday.  No big plans - we were going to head down to see the WWII memorial on the Mall in DC, but with temps in the low 30's with a stiff breeze, standing on a granite plaza for an hour or so doesn't sound too fun...

That's my thought....He's about 18 months old...he'd never really destroyed much as a pup (except for his beds, but he's stopped that). Again, maybe teenage angst!

Bad Sammy! Strange that he'd start chewing again for no apparent reason. Hopefully this stage will pass quickly.
