I'm about halfway throught Control, the 2007 film based on the life of Ian Curtis of Joy Division.....its beautifully filmed in black and white and holy crap, Sam Riley, who plays Ian Curtis? New #1 celeb crush, and by no means an embarassing one. Look at this boy:

seriously....i've gotten a wee bit obsessed after only seeing 45 minutes of him on film.  I'm ignoring his lovely fiancee on the other side of the photo. 


aside from the eye candy, the story is compelling, and I'll highly recommend it to you music fans, esp gatheringmoss and steen70 I knew most of the basics of his life, but still an interesting portrayal.  Joy Division def holds up, and its not just that Interpol has mimiced their sound/style....
