I'm annoyed that Twilight has sucked me in hard. I'm halfway through and was intending to save it as a beach book, but its GOOD. Like cheesy page turner good that you can read while having the TV on (usually one of my pet peeves)

This means that tomorrow morning I'm going to have to go to the bookstore and buy the next 3 books in the series.

(well, at least I can sell them quickly on trading post....)

I've been debating whether to start reading that series. I'm not a huge vampire fan but I do love a page turner. You'll have to let us know if it's worth it when you finish :) I took a break from The Historian and just recently picked it up again, it seems to be getting more interesting. We'll see.

urgh, I thought the Historian dragged _so_ much. I think I finished it just to finish reading it. It did get better, but the first 1/3 I kept saying "GET ONE WITH IT!!"

I loved the Anne Rice vampire books, but as Twilight is more young adult, the smut is more smoldering glances than sleazy. The thing I find most unrealistic about it thus far is that a 17 yr old high school girl is open and clearand able to express her feelings towards a guy. Um....I dont think that clarity really came to me until my late 20's!!!!

Yup - I feel into the Twilight trap myself! I plowed through all 4 without stopping!

what's sad is that I keep making editorial comments about her overly obnoxious descriptiveness, but still cannot.stop.reading.
