whoo hoo date night

had a rare date night this weekend -- like about 50 billion other of you, went to get Mexican and see The Dark Knight (so yeah, $50 worth of babysitter for a margarita, fajitas and a movie, but we do this like, what, 3x a year???) 

but loved it....can't wait for it to come out on DVD to enjoy it at home....



creepy, hilarious, adorable...


but this totally made me LOL


but this, by far, gave me the biggest creeps of all:


his creepy cheek-sucking sloshy voice was mezmerizing, and I'm in the club that DOES like Bale's Batman voice.



drove around yesterday to look at a few open houses,

-this one was too pricey (and not super exciting)
-this one was too big and backed onto a too noisy road (but very nice and nicely priced for what it is...)
this one needed wayyy too many updates


no open house for this one, but really like it....not sure about the flag lot thing, though....


I totally need a TDK icon...off to browse ONTD to find a good one.........

I really liked the movie too! Heath Ledger was soooo amazing - it was such a great performance. I love Christian Bale too - he's great! :)

I saw TDK this weekend, too, and especially LOVED HL as the nurse - LOL! Especially the walking-away-from-the-hospital bit. (Yes, I'm twisted and evil inside ;) As C said, they probably won't ever attempt to have another actor play that role, as there's little chance they could top his performance.
