I know a few of you have used those subscription based (audio) Ipod  fitness routines.....anyone have any experiences they'd like to share?  Sites they recommend?

I'm primarily looking for aerobic-based ones, but consider myself a fairly experienced exerciser who gets quickly bored with the same-ol-stuff.  I'll be fine sticking with a routine/plan for about 2 months or so, the look to something new.  I don't have access to gobs of fitness paraphernalia (no bosu or The Firm bench), but have a treadmill, bike, rowing machine, elliptical, freeweights, fitness ball, heavy bag, and step equipment.  [heh....no, not my own except for treadmill and Smith machine, but all of the stuff is at my office gym]

You'd hate the music I work out to. It's almost exclusively German opera.

well....maybe not! I hate singing along to music when I work out and prefer electronica that I CAN'T sing to. And there's no way in hell I coud sing along to German Opera :P

But then again, I dont think opera could get me all pumped up for the last big interval burst...

My other playlist for workouts is heavily slanted toward Nick Cave tunes, and while effective, it tends to inspire bloodthirsty rage.

I have tried and liked Podfitness: http://www.podfitness.com

Also a lot of sites like Self & Shape, etc. sometimes have downloadable ones I think.

ooho! the podfitness ones were the ones I was thinking about I think.... Didnt they use to do just audio?

Are they really videos, or are they audio w/ a handful of illustrated photos?

Hmm, I've only tried the audio ones. Not sure if they have video? I've tried them 2 times - first right when they launched, then another time maybe a year ago? I loved it both times!!

I like iTrain (http://www.itrain.com/index1.php) a lot. It's basically a guided workout. I generally use them for the elliptical and bike, but they have weight and toning ones, yoga, and running too. I don't necessarily love the music, but I find them really motivating.
