D.V. by Diana Vreeland
Grade: B
Chatty, often VERY over the top autobiography by the original Fashionista, fashion editor of Harper's Bazaar and editor-in-chief of Vogue, and curator of fashion/costumes at the Met.
I felt pretty lost through some of this, as the 'who's who' of the 1940's-1970's really doesn't hold up to today's Us Weekly covers. She was def. a visionary, though, and had be googling things through the night.
How she's be horrified at the casual state of dress of the world today...........
