3 random good/funny things

1)  Turkey sandwiches with bacon bits (not faux bacon bits.  Hormel makes real bacon bits that are awesome. 30c per tablespoon) are one of the best things ever. Try it!

2)  There was a baby shower yesterday for a co-worker.  As it was wrapping up, the mother to be, a male coworker who her husband is friends with, 2 older (50's) women and myself were talking about childbirth, hospital rooms, etc.  The guy made some comment about "and those women who try and, heh, go 'natural' with no drugs!!"  BOTH the other two women and myself raised our hands and said "um I DID"   The guy looked shocked, then impressed, then kind of scared. He mumbled "woah.  wow.  well, i wont mess with you guys.....really? wow"  heh.  Its pretty abnormal in my experiences to encounter 2 women (one has 2 kids, the other has 4, all in high school or older) who are in their 50's that went natural.

3)  overheard on the light rail this morning: (Said about a lenient transit police who checks tickets):  "You could give her an invitation to Welch's on a summer day and she wouldn't even bust a GRAPE")

Heehee on #2. I do find it empowering to know that I went through childbirth with no drugs.
