I've always been a fan of the band Placebo - they're what I'd call 'intelligent goth' performed by beautiful androgynous boys. Brian Molko has an amazing articulated voice and never seems to 'swallow' the last syllable of what he's singing, which seems to be so rare these days. engaging voice singing about nasty little things.....


I stumbled across their cover of Kate Bush's Running up that Hill when looking at the Henry Rollins show on ifc.com and am now obsessed.

YouTube (which I can't link to at work) has the 'real' video, where their fans are singing (think of the supermodels singing George Michael's Faith)

From an adoring Kate Bush fan...not bad...not bad at all. Of course, I think her version has more tension and passion..but that's OK. :) I do like the guys voice.
