shopping porn for all you modernists
Dec. 18th, 2004 10:37 pmi'm such a slut for designed items......any store/website that lists things by designers has me swooning and pulling the credit card out before I can think straight.
thanks to my newly renewed subscription to Dwell, I've now found so many new places to spend the money that's (not) leftover from christmas....
Moss Online -- home, office, toys in streamlined Gattica style.
this is pretty over the top, but I adore the Gautier "exposed construction" aspect of it.

Unica Home More playful stuff -- Uglydolls and flyswatters with faces. Has a very cool "as seen on tv" section so you can have the chair/toaster that you saw on Queer Eye or the OC.
Oho, to be able to decorate our 1959 living room to a period and include a pair of these....

Clio Home Mostly dining stuff (including the much lusted after "red berry" china), but check out this fab cheese plate:

Lekker which has this awesome lamp that, once lit, reveals a forest scene:

*sigh* off to my piecemeil furnished environs.....at least we're slowly phasing out the Ikea (or at least refinishing it so it looks less Ikea)
