I has JUST finished putting makeup on when the Today show aired a clip of a Navy guy who'd been in Iraq showing up to surprise his little boy (looks like he's about 5) at school. 

The dad walks into the class room, the little boy just stares at him for a second, then jumps up and runs to him, bursting into tears and hugging his dad.



......and now I'm tearing up again.  (and much like snowzilla, the second my eyes water, my nose gets all Rudolphy.  niiiicee)



I'm sure it will be the end 'feel good' piece on the NBC nightly news, so if you want to ruin YOUR makeup for the evening, watch it.

I SAW IT TOO and BAWLED MY EYES OUT! His face when he sees his dad is priceless...I'm mad they filmed it though.

i cried instantly while i was watching that...something about his face and how he starts crying while he's running to his day. it was so real and sweet and so sad.
