eshopping for ben
Mar. 6th, 2007 04:35 pmI've been scouring the baby clothing sites to try and find *something* for Ben's birthday and following-day family photos.
I'm not digging anything from Gymboree, Hanna, Gap, Old Navy, Childrens Place, Mini Boden, or Garnet Hill
I DO like a couple the things from Talbots Kids, but they're not in his size.
I don't want layered t-shirts....I'd like something a bit dressier, but I don't know what. Maybe a sweater w/ soft pants? It will be mid/late April in DC/Baltimore.
I think I'd like to stay white // blue // aqua for photos, as they'll be outside. NO sweater vests, which is hard, 'cause there's a ton of 'em out there now.
Any suggestions from the peanut gallery? Where HAVEN'T I looked?

LOVE this for photos....Its a one piece, but I bet I could replicate it w/ 2 pieces. Too bad its not in his size.
the turtle sweater at Gymbo is cute, and they usually have soft pants that match. I DON'T like the sailboat sweater that they have on sale right now (v-neck = awkward layering for babies)
this one on ebay is cute. I wouldn't mind Ben being in stripes and Judd and I in solids for the pics...
Maybe I'll stop at the mall tomorrow to scour the Gymbo outlet.

Date: 2007-03-07 06:00 pm (UTC)My sister-in-law shops at some incredibly pricey on-line places for special occassions. But I can't see spending upwards of $80 on an outfit for one wearing. Well, maybe for a Christening or something, but not so much for holiday type stuff esp. when they grow out of things so quickly.
But if you're interested I'll bugger her for the links. Just let me know.

Date: 2007-03-07 06:03 pm (UTC)I'd fotgotten that TJ maxx has baby clothes - I just think of them as kids and adults. AND there's one in our nearby outlet mall, and as long as I have a content Ben, I can cover a lot of ground quickly.
