ahh....sick again
Took yesterday off to kind of recover and sleep without having to worry about anyone else (Ben was at daycare for the afternoon)

This weekend's symptoms?
-hellacious cough (20' of nonstop coughing at bedtime)
-lost voice on Sunday
-persistant sore throat

and, my favorite:
-Pink Eye!


As someone who, prior to this time last year, would get sick MAYBE once every 2 years, this has been especially sucktastic.

Our entire family is currently suffering from the stuffy snuffies. It ain't fun. My brother never used to get sick...then he became a school teacher and is felled by at least three colds/flus/illnesses a year.

ugh, i hope you feel better soon. Calvin and i both have that cough, i feel like someone is sitting on my chest. blah.

you know you can put breastmilk in your eye to help with the pinkeye, right?

I have heard that, but haven't done it yet. Think I'll try the next time I pump. Hopefully, it doesn't require one to shoot themselves in the eye with milk (ha!)

hee! when Calvin had the gloppity-eye I did in fact squirt him right in the eye.. he gave me a look like, um... mom... what the HELL are you doing??

a friend of mine said you can just pour it from a paper/plastic dixie-type cup. I told her I was worried about bacteria, and she pointed out that the whole point of the breastmilk is that it's an anti-bacterial. duh. :)

Hope you feel better soon. I had the same experience when Katie was in daycare...the whole family would always be sick.
