vernacular_life3 things:
1. I was SO productive yesterday it was scary. All of that was lost today. Maybe friday will be good again.
2. 2 year old Niece Emma was being carried into 7-11 or somewhere by her mother. Emma spies an older man w/ white hair, a big belly, a red t-shirt, and a scuffy beard. She points to the man and goes, "HO HO HO HO HO!" Emma's mother starts cracking up. "Santa" was not amused. Jerk.
3. Happy turkey day! Should be quiet for us tomorrow with 'faux turkey' dinner (aka roasted chicken) to prepare us for Big Turkey Dinner on Saturday at my parents. Should be filled with my mom complaining about my headling-into-senality grandmother, annoyed obtusiveness about my brother & family, and panic on my parents behalf about our (housetrained) dog. ahhh, holidays
