Can I take a bath at work?
Feb. 28th, 2006 09:21 amYesterday was the first day that I really felt the full effects (for a full day!) of pregnancy/extra weight gain. My left hip is killing me. The ONLY thing that really helped was a bath last night. My usual remedies (light exercise, switching chairs, tylenol, sitting on an exercise ball, walking around in my socks) did nothing for me at all. AND it appears that its still bothering me this morning. Yippee! Thankfully, have my prenatal massage booked for Friday. Hope I can wait that long.
Oh yeah, and Target.com? You can kiss my arse. You can take your $9.99/each item shipping charge and shove it. There's no way I'm paying $20 in shipping for curtain valances that only cost $13 a piece.
On a more successful shopping note, ordered my Miracle Blanket last night AND a Sidecar Sling! I was about to go with a hotsling, but had a babycenter.com GC, and they don't carry hotslings in my size. Read quite a few good reviews of SS, and like that its cotton AND has a hidden pocket for keys, etc, AND its reversable! I'm going to get a Mei Tei for when baby gets a bit older, but def wanted a sling for the early weeks/months.
Isn't the print loverly? It kind of reminds me of the cover of a Primal Scream album, no?

it IS a miracle!
