Colors were amazing
Rest of photos are here.
without further ado, pics from Mexico. This is the beach at Tulum. LOVED Tulum.

Want to move there, esp as I saw that 5 acres of waterfront property is $50,000. (Will ignore Hurricane Risk)

I've got an amusing parrot pic to scan in -- hope to get it up this afternoon.

At the resort, most people were drinking around the pool!!!

yeah! I was just thinking "did I miss her pix post?" yesterday. Love your pix - again, making me itch for the nicer camera.

How was the weather at Tulum? Everyone was DRENCHED in sweat w/in 5 minutes after stepping off the tour bus when we went there...dang it, I knew I should have gone down to the beach. It looks awesome!

You and hubby look adorable. :) BTW, from your recap, it sounds like PDC is nicer than Cancun, which we didn't like all that much. Did you drive from Cancun or take another plane to PDC?

IMHO, Cancun is an armpit. We got a private car ($80 for both rt) to drive us from the airport to our hotel. Tulum was about a 45-60 minute drive south of the hotel, and we hired a private car for that as well (didn't want to combine the trip to Xel-Ha)

Cancun is a total disaster these days, anyway -- only about 3-5 hotels are supposedly up and running, and, according to a co-workers trip report, it looks like the gulf coast still!

One of our good friends happened to be down there when the big one hit late last year. They were bussed to some shelter and had to stay there for 2 days while they waited for new flights out of town. Yikes!
