King Kong Hype

So, am I the only one who's just not really excited about King Kong?  When the tv ads promote it as "everything you've ever wanted in a movie.........ever" somehow, I just don't believe it.   Even on our big tv, the CG just looks cheezy.....and while I'm a Jack Black fan, just don't see him in this role............

I have NO desire to see this film.

However, I also almost walked out of 'Titanic', so that's just me.

Eric doesn't get it either...he never was a King Kong fan...well, there was that time he fought Godzilla, but he was 11 when he saw that movie! :P

I'm not planning on wasting the $15 or whatever it is to see a movie these days. I'll put it on my Netflix cue for next summer.

hahaha. I don't see many movies anyway, but King Kong is just about the last movie I'd see. I don't think it looks like anything I'm interested in from the commercials I've seen. Won't even get this one from Netflix once it's on DVD...

Dennis and I both said immediately that we had no desire to see this. I can't believe how it is being hyped as going to top the money and weeks in the box office of Titanic. I didn't even watch that until just last week though.

I am not excited either - nothing really appeals to me about it. I'm glad *I'm* not the only one!! ;)
