New rug: before and after!

What a difference a modern floorcovering does for our living room! I couldn't be happier with the results, and a special shoutout to a certain lj friend for a heads up on a coupon! mwah!!

Now I'm inspired to repaint the red walls of the dining room one of the lovely moss green colors of the new RL metallic paints....

I like it! I like it! It really does make a big difference. Good thing Sammy has dark hair. I wouldn't like having to get up all of Beacon and Haven's hair off that rug. ;)

the color of Sammy's hair was a key decision to the rug color! I had wanted a creme rug, but KNEW that wouldn't last!

the ralph lauren colors will always remind me of a guy i dated. he moved to staten island and painted his entire house ONE color, and that color is called "patriot blue".
