I haven't done a full round of house pictures in ages, and since I also have tons of new people on my FL, figured I'd share!

I never thought I'd be happy in a split level house, and while I'd like another full bathroom, have really gotten to love it here. Paint and furniture really make a difference!

The place looks fabulous. Love the colors you picked! My (wise-ass) comments are as follows:

--Methinks I spy some C&B chairs in the living room! I very much approve since we have one of them in our bedroom!

--Methinks again that I spy those lovely kitchen cabinet handles I am so fond of...

--Not only is it a frog in a sombrero...it's a "chile covered" frog in a sombrero!

--The blue color in Baby W's room will look great even if it's a girl, since it's a bold, happy blue and not a pastelly, baby blue!

what can I say, I get my decor ideas from the best :)

As for the blue baby room, I have a swatch of fabric that's apple green with white polka dots that looks awesome in there. I think that blik dots would HAVE to go on the walls if that's what we go with!

Great house. I'm glad we aren't the only ones to not leave much white in our house. I love color! :)

Whoa - your house is gorgeous! I have much house envy right now.

I love Sammy's "chien bizarre" sign!

thanks! luckily, Judd and I have mostly similar tastes.
We bought the dog sign in Paris a year before we got him....somehow, we KNEW we'd end up with a bizzare dog.

thanks! compared to so many of the houses you see these days, I think we've got quite a ways to go, but we're happy..

I love the porch -- in the winter, we put up plexiglass inserts over all of the openings and get toasty with the gas fireplace.

Next year's plans are to get some more permanantly installed windows out there - screen in the summer, close in once it gets cold. We don't want to really 'convert' it to another room - I love a screened in porch!

Very nice, thanks for sharing! I like the colors you've used throughout the house, especially the blue in Baby W's room.

thanks! if you notice, the only 'room' that's white is the hallway going upstairs. After years of living where we couldn't paint, we went hog wild!!

Thanks for the tour! I know I've seen pictures in the past but it's nice to see for sure where everything is.

Sammy was cracking me up. He's got a good lookout spot picked out. And I love his turban.

Sammy was being goofy all day - I was working from home, and somehow he knew that I shouldn't have been there!

He really likes it when we're home in the daytime and leave the front door open and he can see out of the storm door. He'll sit there all day and growl at the squirrels!
