Aug. 29th, 2005 08:26 amnothing big to report from this weekend except that we did an excessive amount of yard/pond work and my hamstrings are KILLING me from bending over to weed/plant all weekend.
too bad that my usual 600mg of Advil's are now verboten.
more stuff later (i'm in the field today), but first, an odd/funny dream:
I was back in our house in Frederick, MD where we were for high school. I was with Sammy, my mom downstairs, when I noticed that the furniture was moving around oddly - as in bookcases turning upended and against the windows, etc. Sammy bolted downstairs, and I went down to tell my mom that things were being really weird, but didn't want to say the word Poltergeist as I thought she'd think I was nuts.
At this point, both
tinksdust and
havybeaks, along with both of their dogs Beacon and Haven were visiting. I introduce them to my mom (who didn't find it the tiniest bit odd that my lj buddies were there), and she suggested that I take Beacon upstairs to investigate, because, in her words, "Beacon is so much braver than Sammy"
Uh....whatever THAT means!
