I think my grumpiness about not getting to hawaii this Jan/Feb can be soothed by a gourmet all inclusive resort in Playa Del Carmen. Now, to see if Delta and the condo availability will coordinate nicely.... even if this one's not available, there's tons of other ones that look just as fab...

i hope so - I'm not usually one for all-inclusives (I think quality usually slips), but we'll see. Too bad massages aren't included in the 'all inclusive'

unrelated: what filters do you recommend for adig. SLR? Or should I just mess around w/ it before I buy one? (I'd IM you, but they just cut out our IM abilities at work)

Id get a simple UV filter to keep on the camera at all times (it will protect the lens from scratching)

a circular polarizer would also be a good start
