Finally uploaded pics from the recent work we've done in the front yard.

Before (when we bought the house)





During (after the trees, before we ripped out the ivy)




After! We put in a camella, a couple of japanese boxwoods, a rhodedendrum, and a bunch of mums, asters & lambs ears. More stuff to go in the spring...



now, we just need to redo the bed alongside the walkway to make it look more 'natural' and add in more perinials and ground cover.

Thanks! While I've never been a huge fan of the way our house looks from the outside (whhhyy are the windows so small in the bedrooms?!), I'm having soo much fun doing the gardening. DH keeps wishing that Alan Tishmarsh would show up one afternoon and help with the planting.

I was horrified when going through the old pics to show what it looked like here before we moved in. What a difference a year (and a ton of paint, and some landscaping) can do!
