10 things I've done that you probably haven't

ganked from nearly everyone..........

1.  I've Been to the Temple of Abu Simbel in Egypt for the celebration of the spring equinox
2.  Seen the 'inner workings' of the eternal flame at the Kennedy Gravesite at Arlington National Cemetery (insider tip:  It's not REALLY eternal...)
3.   I spent a semester of college as an undergrad at Oxford University
4.   I interned at the Press office of the National Gallery of Art
5.   I got an electric hot-comb stuck in my long hair and had to have it cut out (By my mom, thus had a mullet until the weekend)
6.  As an infant, I was the 'tester' for an engineering project for my dad's structural engineering class where they had to build a truck out of a 2x4 and glue.  Who's ever truck I played with the longest got an "A"  (none were this cool, though)
7.  I've been to the bottom of the water control tower at a dam
8.  I've had my passport taken by 'police' in Prague because I supposedly didn't pay to get on the subway
9.  I was called a "generation x-file-er" by the now-deceased Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan during a discussion about new urbanism
10.  As a child, electrocuted myself to the point of blowing (not tripping!!) the circuit for that outlet.

That is a very cool list.

I had to have curlers cut out of my hair once. Thankfully, a mullet was avoided. :)

I thought about that as I was typing!! And as for the mullet, um, I think it was 1986, so yes, I was in the Height of Mullet Fashion (although I really wanted a Rat Tail, but that's a whole different story.....)

How'd you manage #10? My cousin did that as well when he chewed through a cord plugged into an outlet as a child. Ouch! Still has some scarring around his mouth from it.
