Oh yuck!! I've been a bit grossed out by the winter Crocs that have that wool looking lining. Its always so filthy. ugh!

Have you seen how Crocs are changing the styles for adults? I dare say that some of them border on "cute"!! I was reading in the Disney travel forums that Crocs are the best things to walk in and man, I just couldn't do it!! (I'm the type who won't even wear gym shoes like a lot of people do).

We caved last year and got Katie some pink Crocs (she loved all the little thing-a-ma-doos that clip in and her friends all had them). I'm sure that's the reason why kids love them so much. But seriously $25 for molded foam rubber!?!? This year I had a $10 off coupon and she picked a much better looking version of them.

I have those 'fur' lined crocs that I use exclusively as slippers (they are cozy!) and they STILL get yucky inside, despite soaking in oxyclean. At least I can clean them, unlike normal slippers, but the farthest I've been away from the house in them is the edge of the driveway to get the paper!

I couldnt imagine walking long distances in them - there's no arch support at all! Give me a pair of Keen's any day

Ah true, my indoor footwear differs greatly from my outdoor footwear! I live in socks and addidas pool sandals (which I call 'chuppals', a word stolen from my Indian friends).

I've not tried on a pair of Keens.

Keens aren't pretty, but they're on the Teva side rather than the Croc side, and they're sturdy as hell, and have a great toe-cap so you feel pretty indescructable when wearing them.

I have some of their flip flops and I feel abit goofy wearing them, but if I happen to run into Kmart or somewhere skeezy, I dont feel like I'm barefoot.

Oh ick! I hate crocs but these are way uglier than those. Can't kids just wear shoes and socks anymore?

on the listing for the product it acutally says "if you're too busy to find socks...." um WHA? oho hell, just throw a sack on 'em and give them plastic bags for their feet.

I could *maybe* comprehend these as watershoes, but we already have the ugly non-sock water shoes..why do we need these?!

Bleh! They're like cartoon feet! We will not be doing Crocs. Apparently escalators eat them or some such, and that was horrifying enough to keep Owen from wanting them, thank goodness.

Don't you see Mario Batalli clamoring for some, though?

Guess I shouldn't tell you that I bought two pairs, huh? ;) Bicals are awesome for water play or house shoes. I used them when the girls were little and wouldn't keep their shoes or socks on but were starting to cruise. And they rock for splash parks/pools. But yeah, they have kind of limited usage.
