weekend wrapup.....with photos!!

Ben and I finished Judd's fathers day pressie on Friday, and suffice to say, he's not a fan of fingerpainting. We tried handprints, but those failed miserably.

Final result:


The yellow is a bit paler in person.  I think its cute, but didn't come out the way I expected it to. 

Judd wasn't feeling well all weekend, so we scrapped our plans to walk around DC/Potomac Park/Haines point on Saturday, and stayed around the house yesterday. 

I went  vacuum-looking on Saturday, and am going go give the Dyson d-17 a test.  If I think its too big and heavy to lug around, I'll just get the new version of my Kenmore cannister.  Saturday afternoon, tried to get the dyson at Bed bath and beyond (20% off!) ......only to find that they're sold out at my store.  Will try another this afternoon.............

Not much went on this weekend expect for a lot of yardwork and cooking and playing with Energizer Bunny Ben.

Future torture picture! My dad bought Ben a 3-in-1 swimsuit, with built in SPF 50 and flotation.
Its too big this year, but can double as a costume at halloween!!!
