niiiiice.

Why do you like the garage to be detached?

I should have clarified....the garage NOT being front-and-center on the house, opening up to the world, is important. Having it out back meets that requirement :)

Oh then you'd like our house. Our garage is detached behind the house. It is nice except for when it's raining.

Oh sure.. no one on LJ gave me the $20,000 I needed for our dream land and we lost it! :)

heh..yeah, I thought about you when I posted that. I think what you lost was wayyyy more desireable than the house I posted, btw.

looks WONDERFUL. That 500K you need is all about location. It's pretty close to teh river & in Annapolis. EVERYTHING is more expensive there. This whole area is insane.

Eastport is nice, but you're right....the price is all about location, but as I'm sure you know, there's NO new developemts in our area that are built on a small scale or that look kind of like this....everything new is either townhouses or Massive Obnoxious Colonial wannabees.

*sigh*

Holy Crap! It's an adorable house (and if we lived in the same area I'd thumb wrestle you for it) by why almost a mil? Is it because it's in Annapolis? I had no idea the market was so high in that area!

I think the $$ is for two reasons: a) the very desirable location and b) new house. My guess that if this wasn't in the Eastport area of annapolis, it would be closer to $500k, which is still ridiculous, but a bit more reasonable
