vernacular_lifeImac is back and working perfectly!
Problem was a logic board was fried...somehow, it was covered by Apple, even though we didn't buy the extended warrenty. Didnt even have to pay the $100 diagnostic fee, which leads me to believe that a LOT of Imac G5s are having this problem and Apple is covering it with no problem. Pretty fantastic, as Judd had me convinced that we'd just have to chuck it and buy a new one ($2k I did NOT feel like parting with, btw)
Slowwwwly getting back into LJ world. Having a 2 week break was kinda nice. Read tons, cleaned out the basement, took LOTSA walks when it wasnt too hot, had a party, hosted family for lunches, etc.
off to catch up with a billions friends posts....
