Nov. 18th, 2004 10:06 amHomemade Pumpkin bread with spiced honey creme cheese sandwitched between it is a mighty tasty snack, any time of the day!
Pumpkin Bread:
1 16oz can of pumpkin
1 cup oil
3 eggs
3 cups sugar
3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of cinammon
1 teaspoon of cloves (ground)
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
Pour into 2 greased loaf pans and bake for about an hour at 375*, or until toothpick comes out clean
I like it with a bit of creme cheese mixed with honey, cinnamon and nutmeg (add amounts to your taste)
