Baby Carrier Madness!

I currently have a sidecar sling for Ben, and pop him in it to go shopping and when he's fussy. I can take about 60-90 minutes with him in it before it really starts hurting my back and shoulder. He's not ready to 'graduate' to the next method of carrying, and it is great for trips to the grocery, but I didn't think it would hurt as much as it does!

SO I'm in research mode again. I'm debating between the Ergo Carrier and the Ecobaby / bECO baby carrier (don't know what the REAL name is)

Both have an infant insert, as I dont think they can be used until a baby has full head control.

I like the backpack/front carrier nature of both of them, and love the reviews of the Ergo (I could actually get Judd to wear the black one w/ the red lining!). Dont know if I could strap a bECO one on him with the cool prints, but I looove the way they look.

Any of you have any personal experience with either of these?

pretty sure the ergo can be used with new babies. i wish i'd bought it instead of the hiking backpack i chose. :/

No personal experience, but just based on looks, I like the bECO carrier the best.

Well, I don't know if you saw my post, but I posted asking people who liked the Ergo to speak up, and no one did. :( The thing is, I KNOW there was a discussion a couple months ago among several people on my FL who were all excited about buying Ergos from someone who managed to get some sort of discount deal. Maybe I misinterpreted this as they WANTED the Ergo but hadn't actually USED it. I don't know. :(
