1. Every time I read "Simpson Dad", I think of Homer.

2. The problem with music today is that people want the live performances to sound like the recording. The reason to GO see a band/musician live is to see how their prefered/natural performances are. Some performances are off. That's life. But on the other hand, there's been tons of bands that I'm lukewarm about on the album (Mercury Rev is the best example), but kick such major ass live that I'm instantly converted.

3. If the popstarlets must have backing tracks to make their performances even, how do broadway actors do it (Don't say "with understudies!"

4. If she were any type of singer, she'd have just started singing when the band started playing instead of slinking off of stage. She didn't even bring the microphone up to her big honking nose. The Mic was never on.

5. If someone's singing, I don't want to see them dancing. If I want to see chorography and dancing, I'll go to a step show. There's no real reason to combine them. That's why there are BACKUP DANCERS.

You know, I can honestly say I've never heard her sing one note. Couldn't name you a song she sings if my life depended on it.

Guess that's what I get for listening to WXPN and nothing else. I'm all about singer/songwriters. If they're not singing their own songs and/or playing their own instruments, couldn't give a rat's ass!

By the way, Franz Ferdinand is playing a festival here in Philly in December...I always think of you when I hear them! :)

I've said the same about not only Britney, but any actor-turned-'singer'.

Hell, William Hung has more talent than Ashlee's little finger.

Ditto - and you know that hits close to home in my family.
